Getting Started
Get up and running with SixDegree in minutes. This guide will walk you through creating your account, setting up your first environment, connecting integrations, and chatting with AI about your infrastructure.
What You'll Learn
By the end of this guide, you'll be able to:
- Sign up for SixDegree and create your account
- Set up your first environment
- Connect your first integration (GitHub, GitLab, or others)
- Chat with AI about your discovered entities
- Navigate your knowledge graph
Prerequisites
- A SixDegree account (sign up here)
- Access to at least one service to integrate (GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
- API credentials for your integrations
Quick Start Steps
1. Create Your Account
Visit sixdegree.ai and sign up with your email or GitHub account.
2. Create Your First Environment
Environments are completely isolated workspaces with their own entities, molecules, chats, users, and configurations. Create one for your team or project.

3. Connect an Integration
Add your first molecule to discover entities from services like GitHub, GitLab, Docker, or others.
Common first integrations:
- GitHub - Discover repositories, pull requests, and issues
- GitLab - Discover projects and merge requests
- AWS - Discover EC2 instances, S3 buckets, Lambda functions
- Kubernetes - Discover clusters, deployments, and services
4. Start Chatting
Once discovery runs, use natural language to query your infrastructure:
Show me all repositories with open pull requests
Which services depend on the auth-api repository?
What Lambda functions were deployed this week?
